Overview
Emergency planning, preparedness and response training discusses several topics such as; the different types of emergencies and how different types of emergencies could threaten a business, including the necessary actions that need to be considered and taken before they happen so that business can minimize the potential losses they will encounter. Steps will focus on how to minimize interruptions and how to maintain and continue business operations even during an emergency situation.
Rationale:
The possibility of emergencies arising in the workplace that could threaten business operation is a very big concern. Though some people feel it is impossible to be prepared for unexpected events, the truth is that taking preparedness actions helps people deal with disasters of all sorts much more effectively when they do occur.An emergency is any unplanned/unwanted/ unforeseen event that may result to bodily injuries to workers and significant property damages. Any business establishment not prepared for any untoward incident is at high-risk as an emergency can disrupt any activity/operations, cause physical or environmental damage and threaten business financial standing. This course
will address issues associated with the mentioned concerns.Objective:
